ENTER THE 2ND ANNUAL SCARECROW ALLEY DISPLAY CONTEST!
It’s time, again, for Scarecrow Alley! Our first ever Scarecrow Display Contest in 2022 was a huge success! We had 1,493 votes cast both in person and online.
October is one of our busiest months here at Paradise Acres, and we’re partnering with local groups, businesses, and families to create a festive fall atmosphere for the thousands of guests who will visit our farm.
In addition to the Pumpkin Patch & Pumpkin Shed, Firepits with S’mores, and Hayrides, we’re hosting a Scarecrow Display Contest to make for one of the region’s top autumn attractions.
Scarecrows will be on prominent display in our high foot traffic areas, ensuring your creativity (and organization name) get a lot of visibility.
WHO CAN ENTER
Anyone! Businesses, Clubs, Families, Church Groups, Individuals, Sports Teams, etc. are all welcome!
PRIZES
Guests will vote on their favorite scarecrow display throughout the month. In addition to the visibility and inherent marketing reach, the winning group/individual/family, etc. will receive a free 2-hour group pass to our property for up to 20 people (up to $700 value). You’ll bring your crew out for a couple of hours of fun (before 12/31/2024) which could include mini-golf, laser tag, the ball cannon, and any seasonal activities we’re offering at the time of your visit.
Other prizes will be announced at a later date.
THE RULES
- Be creative.
- Think outside the box.
- One scarecrow or a big display … it’s up to you!
- Have FUN.
- Keep it clean (PG rated for our young community members).
- The theme of your display can be related to your group/business/family or can be a completely unrelated creative theme. You should plan to put up signage promoting your business/group either way!
- Your display must be wind, water & wild weather resistant.
- Your display can certainly be patriotic but not overtly political or a politically divisive theme. (We want this to be fun for everyone!)
- Your display must be handmade (not purchased, rented or borrowed).
- Items such as tiki torches, candles, gas, generators or open flames are not permitted.
- We reserve the right to reject a display for any reason, especially if it is in any way controversial.

EASY PARTICIPATION
- Submit your electronic registration via the form below.
- Set up your Scarecrow Display at Paradise Acres anytime the week of Sept 24-30.
- Paradise Acres guests will vote on their favorite displays Oct 1-Oct 30.
- The winners along with their prizes and bragging rights will be announced on Halloween! You can come to Paradise Acres for the announcement or we can contact you via text, email or phone.
